Mr. Martin is the former Executive Director of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) and former Executive Director of the National and International Academies of Emergency Dispatch. He is a certified Emergency Number Professional (ENP) and holds a bachelor’s degree in business marketing and a master’s in professional communication. Mr. Martin has managed hundreds of diverse programs for conferences, committee work, national and international standard setting, and membership coordination. He has been a board member and volunteer for several non-profit organizations and foundations and has 20 years of association management, coalition building, marketing and publication, and organizational communication experience, with emphasis in public safety and emergency services.
